Ingredients
- 2 sticks butter
- 3 cups sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 4-5 sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1/4 in slices
- 1/4 cup water
Preparation
Step 1
Melt butter in skillet, add sugar and water. Stir until dissolved. Lay sweet potato slices in syrup mixture, sprinkle salt over potatoes. Cook on medium high heat until mixture becomes a candied consistency.
