Ingredients
- 2 lbs. cooked, sliced potatoes
- 8 slices bacon
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 4 tsp. sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. vinegar
- 1 tsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. celery seeds
Preparation
Step 1
Saute bacon until crisp. In 2 tablespoons bacon fat saute onion until tender but not brown. Mix flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Add vinegar and 1/2 cup water into pan, stirring until blended. Simmer until thick, stirring constantly. Stir in potatoes, parsley, celery seeds and crumbled bacon. Cook over low heat until potatoes are warm.
