Ham and Green Bean Casserole
I used skim milk and this still turned out creamy
- 1 pkg frozen French green beans
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups cubed cooked ham
- 1 can thinly sliced water chestnuts
- 1 cup bread crumbs with melted butter
Preparation time 15mins
Cooking time 45mins
Thaw beans. In a saucepan melt butter and blend in flour. Stir in milk and soy sauce. Cook, stirring occasionally, over medium heat until thick. Next stir in sour cream, ham, beans, and water chestnuts. Pour into a 10 x 6 inch baking dish. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Top with paprika.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
