Ingredients
- 4 lb. Brisket
- 2 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 1 Med Onion Sliced
- 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 C Catsup
- 1/4 C Dried Bread Crumbs
Preparation
Step 1
About 4 Hrs. before Serving, Place Brisket in Dutch Oven or Pot, Cover with Cold Water. Bring to Boil, then Simmer covered for 3-4 Hours till Meat is Tender.
Heat Oven to 350
Combine Br. Sugar, Catsup & Worcestershire Sauce.
Remove Meat from Pot & Skim Off Fat. Place into Shallow Baking Dish. Spread Catsup Mixture over Meat, then Sprinkle with Bread Crumbs. Bake 15 mins. Slice Diagonally and Serve. (Arlene Chesnut)
