Maple Chili Glazed Lamb Chops

Ingredients

  • 8 loin lamb chops, 2 inches thick
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • Freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 ¼ cup maple syrup
  • 1 Tablespoon prepared Asian chili paste

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Season lamb chops with 2 teaspoons salt and pepper to taste. Combine syrup, chili paste and remaining 1 teaspoon of salt in a small bowl. Brush on both sides of chops. Heat non-stick skillet on medium-high until very hot. Brown chops in batches, about 30 seconds on each side. Place in a 13 by 9 inch baking pan; bake until cooked through or internal temperature is 130 degrees for medium-rare, about 10 minutes
