Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 2 large eggs
- 3 large bananas
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1/2 cup finely chopped nuts
Preparation
Step 1
Cream the sugar and shortening in a bowl. Stir in the eggs and bananas. Add salt, soda, baking powder to flour, then stir into the banana mixture. Fold in the nuts. Pour into 3 greased coffee cans. Bake at 325 for one hour.
