  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1



Mix sugar and cornstarch in 1 quart saucepan. Gradually stir in water. Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until mixture thickens and boils.

Boil and stir 1 minute and remove from heat.

Stir in remaining ingredients.

Serve Warm or cool.
