Grilled Salmon Steaks

Ingredients

  • 2/3 plus 1/4 cup italian dressing
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 tsp finely chopped fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 4 salmon, swordfish or tuna steaks, about 1 1/2 inches thick

Step 1

For marinade: combine dressing, soy sauce and ginger. In large shallow nonaluminum baking dish or plastic bag, add salmon and 2/3 cup of the marinade; turn to coat. cover and marinate up to 30 minutes turning occasionally. Refrigerate remaining 1/4 cup marinade. Remove salmon, discarding marinade. Grill or broil salmon, turning once and brushing with refrigerated marinade, until salmon flakes.
