Skewered Beef Satay

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 Tbsp brown sugar
- 4 tsp salad oil
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 lb filet mignon steaks - cut to 1 inch cubes
- 1 medium onion - cut into 8 wedges
- 6 Tbsp smooth peanut butter
Preparation
Step 1
In a large Ziploc bag, place steak, onion, and first five ingredients. Close bag and shake to coat and mix.
Let marinade for at least 15 minutes, the longer the better though.
Alternate steak and onion on skewers; reserve marinade.
Grill skewers till cooked to desired doneness, turning often.
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring marinade to a boil.
Whisk in peanut butter and 2/3 cup water; heat through.
Pour into a serving bowl as dipping sauce for beef.
Serve steak over couscous.
