Ingredients
- 6-8 celery stalks
- 1/3 c. walnuts
- 2T. lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 2 tsp. honey
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2T. dijon mustard
- 3 granny smith apples, diced
Preparation
Step 1
1) chop celery into bite size pieces, including leaves, place in bowl covered with cold water.
2) in a md. heat skillet, toast walnuts; transfer to a plate to cool
3) combine lemon juice, garlic, honey,salt and dijon; whisk together
4) peel and cut apples into small peices; toss with dressing
5) remove celery from water, blot and add to apple mix.
6) add walnuts; toss and serve immediately
