Ingredients
- Sift the following and stir into the above:
- 4 eggs
- 15 oz. can pumpkin OR 1 1/2 to 2 c. fresh, cooked, blended pumpkin
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. salad oil
- 2 c. flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. cloves
- 1/2 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp. ginger
- CREAM CHEESE FROSTING:
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 3/4 stick butter
- 4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Mix the following ingredients in large bowl:

15 oz. can pumpkin OR 1 1/2 to 2 c. fresh, cooked, blended pumpkin
2 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
Sift the following and stir into the above:
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ginger
Mix well and pour into greased and floured 9 x 13 pan for cake, 12 x 18 pan for bars. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes.
