Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1/2 pound fresh mushrooms, chopped
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, cubed
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. soy sauce and
- 1/2 cup sour cream
Preparation
Step 1
fry bacon until crisp, and drain on paper towels. crumbled bacon, and set aside. Drain off bacon drippings, preserving 2 tbsp. in skillet.
Add mushrooms, I and, and garlic to the skillet; cook, stirring often, until liquid is evaporated. Stir in flour, salt, and pepper. Then add cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce; cook, stirring constantly, until cheese melts.
Stir sour cream and bacon into mushroom mixture; cook until thoroughly heated, stirring constantly (do not boil). Serve warm with assorted crackers.
