Corn-Cheese Casserole

Corn-cheese casserole is the cheesy recipe filled with sweet corn and cream that pairs perfectly with smothered pork chops, beautifully cooked steaks, or just a lightly dressed salad. Ingredients
- 18 Sunshine Krispy Original crackers or Keebler Zesta Original crackers
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- salt, to taste
- 3 eggs, separated
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 teaspoon hot sauce
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 (14.75-ounces) can cream-style corn
Preparation
Step 1
Crush crackers into fine crumbs. Mix with mustard and salt; set aside.
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry; set aside. Beat egg yolks well. Gradually stir in heavy cream and hot sauce. Add crumb mixture, cheese, butter, and corn. Fold egg whites into mixture.
Pour into shallow 6 cup baking dish. Bake in preheated 325°F for 40 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
