Apple Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup oil
  • 2-1/2 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. each salt, baking soda, baking powder and cinnamon
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 cups chopped apples

Preparation

Step 1

Grease and flour a tube pan. Sift dry ingredients together and set aside.

Beat together until smooth oil, eggs, sugar and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients. Batter will be very thick.

Stir in apples and nuts. Spoon into pan and smooth out on top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 70 minutes.
