Ingredients
- 2 tbls butter
- 1 medium onion
- 2 tbls olive oil
- 1 can crushed tomatoes
- 1 pint heavy cream
- 1 cup Vodka
Preparation
Step 1
Saute onion (chopped small) in butter and olive oil until translucent. Add can of tomatoes and cook for 45 minutes on low heat. Stir so that sauce does not stick to pan. Add heavy cream and cook for an additional 20 minutes. Add vodka and cook for 5 - 10 minutes.
Boil penne according to package. Mix with cooked sauce.
