Linguine Bolognese

  • 6 oz linguine
  • 8 oz. extralean ground beef
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1/4 cup chopped carrots
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1 med. zucchini chopped
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp shredded mozzarella



Step 1

Cook beef breaking meat into smaller pieces until no longer pink. Stir in onion, carrot, garlic and oregano. Cook stirring occasionally until vegetables start to soften. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, and water. Bring to a boil and simmer until slightly thickened (15 min.)
