Yellow Squash

Ingredients

  • yellow squash
  • 1 teaspoon salt or less
  • water
  • medium onion, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Slice several small, tender, yellow squash and add a medium onion, chopped. Sprinkle salt over this and add water about 3/4 way up in pan. Boil for about 20 minutes or until done. Drain well. Add about 1/4 cup butter and mash with an old fashioned potato masher. Serve warm.
