Cherry Orange Duck Glaze

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of cherry juice
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries
  • 1 cup of ruby port
  • 1 Orange (Juiced and sliced with slices to simmer in reduction)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 3 cardamom pods
  • 2 star anise

Preparation

Step 1

Simmer on high heat until liquid reduced by 1/3. Then continue to simmer on very low heat for an additional hour.
