Macaroni and Cheese

A terrific side dish that goes with anything! My kids love it.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup macaroni
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 8 oz pkg medium or sharp grated cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 stick margarine
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Cook macaroni and partially drain. Reserve approximately 1/4 cup of the liquid. Spray a glass loaf pan lightly with Pam and pour in the macaroni and liquid. Add the grated cheese and mix well. Beat the egg and mix with the milk in a separate bowl. Pour over the macaroni. Mixture should be soupy. If not, add a little more milk. Dot with the butter or margarine. Add salt and pepper. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 30-40 minutes or until brown.
