Ingredients

  • 12 oz Penna Rigate Noodles
  • 2 Eggs beat in medium size bowl
  • add salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 oz fresh shredded parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 to 1 lb thick cut bacon
  • 2 Tbs olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

Mix parmesan cheese into egg mixture.
Cut bacon in 1 inch squares. fry with olive oil until cooked.
Bring 4 quarts of water to boil. Put in penne frigate noodles and cook according to package instructions. Drain noodles and return into pot. Mix in bacon and olive oil mixture. Do NOT drain bacon. The bacon grease will soak into the noodles for flavoring.
