Mostaccioli with Broccoli Basil Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 large bunch broccoli
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 1/2 tbsp garlic minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup fresh chopped basil
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • salt and pepper
  • 12 oz pasta
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Steam broccoli, until crisp tender aprox 5 min. Drain and plunge into ice water. When cool drain and cut into 1/4 pieces. in medium saucepan, heat olive oil and saute garlic until pale gold. Add chiken broth, basil, oregano, salt and pepper. Cook pasta, just before done, add broccoli to sauce and heat throught. Toss pasta with sauce and parmesan cheese.
