  • PREHEAT OVEN TO 35O
  • 1 PIE CRUST
  • 1 CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
  • 1/4 CUP CORNSTARCH
  • 1/2 TSP GROUND NUTMEG
  • 1/4TSP CINNAMON
  • PINCH OF SALT
  • 6 CUPS THINLY SLICES APPLES (APROX. 6 MED SIZED
  • APLES)
  • 1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
  • 1/2 CUP BUTTER
  • 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR

Preparation

Step 1

PREPARE PIE CRUST ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS ON PACKAGE FOR 1 CRUST PIE

MIX SUGAR, CORNSTARCH, NUTMEG, CINNAMON AND SALT INTO A BOWL
STIR IN THE APPLES
POUR INGREDIENTS INTO PIE CRUST IN PIE PAN
MIX 1 CUP OF ALL PRPOSE FLOUR WITH 1/2 CUP FIRM MARGARINE OR BUTTER.
ADD1/2 CUP FIRMLY PACKED BROWN SUGAR AND GENTLY MIX UNTIL CRUMBLY
SPRINKLE THIS TOPPING OVER THE PIE.
BAKE FOR 1 HOUR AND 30 MINUTES.
COVER PIE WITH ALUMINUM FOR FOR THE FINAL 10 MINUTES OF BAKING
SERVE WARM. ENJOY
