Tilapia With Lemon Butter Sauce

Ingredients

  • For the Tilapia:
  • 1/2 Cup Flour
  • 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Tilapia Filets, Halved
  • Salt & Pepper
  • For the Sauce:
  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 Shallot, Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup White Wine
  • 2 Tbsp Butter
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley
  • 1/2 Lemon

Preparation

Step 1

Place flour in a shallow dish. Pat fish dry. Season with salt & pepper. Rest fish for 5 minutes. Heat oil on medium. Saute onion 5 minutes. Add wine & boil 3-5 minutes. Strain onions out of sauce. Add butter, parsley, and the juice of 1/2 a lemon to the sauce while still hot. Dredge rested fish in flour. Saute in 2 Tbsp of olive oil on medium high until flaky.
