Asparagus Rolls

Ingredients

  • 28 slices white bread, with crusts removed
  • 3 oz. blue cheese
  • 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, room temp
  • 1 well-beaten egg
  • 1 c. melted butter Grated
  • Parmesan cheese
  • Asparagus spears

Preparation

Step 1

Use rolling pin to flatten bread. Combine cheese, cream cheese and egg; mix well. Spread on bread, covering to edges. Place 1 asparagus spear on each slice of bread; roll up. Dip in butter; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Place on cookie sheet and freeze. Partially thaw; slice each roll Into 3 pieces. Bake at 375° for 15 minutes. Yield: 84 pieces.
