Frozen Lemonade Squares

Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 3/4 cups splendagranulated sweetener, divided
  • 2 TLBS. Margine or butter
  • 2 Cups plain nonfat yogurt
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice ( about 1 to 1 1/2 lemons)
  • Zest of one Lemon
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 cup light whipped topping

Preparation

Step 1

1) Spray an 8-inch square baking pan with cooking spray.
2) In a medium bowl, mix together the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of sweetener, and the margarine or butter untill crumbly. Press the mixture evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan.
3) In a large bowl, whisk together the yogurrt. the remaining sweetener, the lemon juice,and lemon extract. Gently fold in the whipped topping. Pour inti the crustand smooth the top. Sprinkle the lemon zest on top.
4) Cover the pan and olace in freezer for at least 4 hours.
5) Before serving, allow to stand at room temperature fo 10 minutes. Cut into 9 portions useing a warm knife.
