Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

  • apple juice 1 1/4 cups
  • sugar 1/2 cup
  • cornstarch 3 tablespoons
  • jello 1 (pakage (4-serving) size) strawberry
  • strawberries 1 pint fresh, halved with tops removed
  • graham cracker pie crust 1 (6-ounce or 9) inch
  • cool whip

Preparation

Step 1

Heat apple juice, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan over medium heat
Stirring until thickened, about 2 minutes
Remove from heat, add jello, stir 2 minutes until fully dissolved
Place strawberries, cut side down on top of pie crust
Pour jello mixture over strawberries
Refrigerate at least 2 hours or until firm
Garnish each serving with cool whip, and a fresh strawberry
