Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 4 onions
  • 3 carrots
  • 10 cups water
  • 1 cup barley
  • 1 cup mushrooms
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1 melt margarine in pot 2 grate onions and carrots, saute for 10 minutes 3 add rest of ingredients 4 cook on low heat for 3 hours, or until barley is soft
