Ingredients
- 3 quarts mangoes, firm, peeled, and chopped
- 2 pints white vinegar
- 1 lb raisins, seedless
- 2 T finely chopped garlic or small onion chopped
- 4 oz fresh ginger, grated
- 5 hot peppers - seeded & finely chopped
- 2 T salt
- 4 oz dry mustard
- 3 lbs. brown sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Inlarge heavy bottom sauce pan put sugar, vinegar and salt - bring to boil and boil 5 min. Add all other ingredients, bring back to a boil and boil for 1 hour, stirring frequently.
Remove from heat, cool and fill sterilized jars and seal
