Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 can whole tomatoes ( or crushed tomatoes)
  • 1 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 3/4 ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 \4 cup fresh dill

Preparation

Step 1

• In a Dutch oven, heat oil over medium heat sauté 4 to 5 min. Add garlic sauté 1 minutes • Add chicken broth, crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, sugar, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes. Stir in cream and dill bring to a simmer for 1 minute. If using whole tomatoes blend with hand emulsifier
