Blueberry Crisp

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbs. Flour
  • 2 Tbs. Sugar
  • 6 Cups Fresh Blueberries
  • 1/4 Cup Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar, firmly packed
  • 3/4 Cups Flour
  • 3/4 Cups Quick Cooking Oats
  • 1 1/4 tsp. Cinnamon
  • 1/2 Cup Cold Butter
  • Vanilla Ice Cream for serving

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl, stir together 3 Tbs. flour and 2 Tbs. sugar. Add blueberries and lemon juice; toss gently to combine. Spread berry mixture evenly in an ungreased 3 quart rectangle baking dish; set aside. For topping, in a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, 3/4 cup flour. oats and cinnamon. Using a pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle topping evenly over berry mixture. Bake, uncovered, about 30 minutes or until topping is a golden brown and edges are bubbly. Cool on a wire rack for about 45 minutes. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
