Drunken Alaskan King Crab Legs

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 3 lemons, cut in half
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 bulb garlic, split in half
  • 3 pounds Alaskan king crab legs, split
  • Melted butter for dipping
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Fill large stockpot halfway with water. Add wine, lemon halves, chili powder and garlic halves to water. Bring to a boil. Using a steamer insert, add crab legs and cover. Steam for 5 minutes or until crab is cooked through. Serve with butter. Salt and pepper to taste.

Makes 6 to 9 cocktail servings.
