Cabbage, Rice & Tomato Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 cups canned tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 3 strips bacon, crumbled
  • 3/4 cup cooked rice
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 1 cup grated cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Mix grated cabbage, rice and tomatoes together. Place in a greased casserole and sprinkle with bread crumbs, grated cheese and bacon. Dot with butter. Bake at 350°F. for 35 minutes.
