Elvis Presley Pineapple Cake

White cake with pineapples and a cream cheese with pecans frosting to top this dessert off. If it's good enough for Elvis, it's good enough for you!

Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix
  • 1 (8-ounce) can crushed pineapple
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 to 3 cups pecans, crushed

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Bake a white cake according to directions on the box, in a 9x13-inch pan.

Cool and poke holes in it.

Boil crushed pineapple with juice and 1 cup of sugar then pour over cool cake.

In large bowl mix cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar. Add vanilla and crushed pecans, mix well and put on cake.
