Rhubarb Cake (Jane Nogrady)

Ingredients

  • Topping:
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups 1-2 inch rhubarb
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted margarine
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped nutes.

Preparation

Step 1

Cream sugar and oleo. Add egg. Mix well. Alternately add sour cream, flour, salt, and soda. Then mix in rhubarb. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 pan. Sprinkle topping over cake, bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.
