Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 4 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 7 ounce coconut flakes; sweetened
  • If unsweetened coconut flakes, 2/3 cups sugar

Preparation

Step 1


Set oven to 325°F and grease cookie sheet.

Beat egg whites with vanilla and dash of salt. Add sugar and beat until
stiff.

Fold coconut in.

Drop by tablespoons on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 325°F for 20 minutes turning light brown at edges
