Chicken and Tomato Basil Alfredo

Ingredients

  • 4 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 1 lb.)
  • 1 package (7.25 oz) kraft macaroni and cheese dinner premium cheesy alfredo
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 medium tomato, chopped
  • 1 tsp. dried basil leaves

Preparation

Step 1

1. Brown chicken in 1 tbsp. oil in large nonstick skillet on medium high heat 5 to 7 minutes on each side or until chicken is cooked through

2. Add 1-3/4 cups water and pasta twist. Bring to boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover. Simmer 9 to 11 minutes or until pasta tender.

3. Remove chicken from skillet; cover to keep warm. Add milk, cheese sauce mix, tomato and basil to ingredients i skillet; stir until well blended. Return chicken to skillet. Cover and continue cooking 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through.
