Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 4 cloves garlic, grated or very finely chopped
- 1/3 cup Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise
- 2 1/2 lbs. all-purpose potatoes (about 6 medium), peeled and cut into 1/8-inch-thick slices
- 1/2 cup shredded Gruyere cheese or cheddar cheese (about 2 oz.)
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 3-quart baking dish with no-stick cooking spray; set aside.
Bring milk just to the boiling point in medium saucepan. Stir in garlic and Hellmann's® or Best Foods® Real Mayonnaise. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, 3 minutes; set aside.
Alternately layer potatoes with milk mixture in prepared baking dish. Top with cheese.
Bake uncovered until potatoes are tender and golden, about 45 minutes.
