Ingredients
- 1 head broccoli, broken into bite-size pieces
- 3/4 lb fettuccine
- 1 pint half-and-half cream
- 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 5 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 dash nutmeg
- white pepper
- salt and black pepper
- 1 (4 ounce) can mushrooms, drained

Preparation
Step 1
1 Boil pasta for 5 minutes; drain.
2 Reserve 1 cup liquid.
3 Add all ingredients except Parmesan cheese.
4 Cook about 10 minutes until broccoli is tender.
5 Add liquid until you see it coming up through pasta.
6 Add cheese to thicken.
