Minted Limeade

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 cup sugar
  • 2-1/2 * 2-1/2 cup water
  • 1 * 1 bunch fresh mint (about 3/4 cup), plus extra for garnish
  • 1 * 1 cup fresh lime juice

Preparation

Step 1

1. Bring sugar, water and mint, slowly up to a simmer. As soon as a simmer is reached, remove from heat, strain, and let cool to room temperature. Stir in lime juice and serve over ice, garnished with fresh mint.
