Ingredients
- lbs fresh shrimp Marinade:
- 1/2 cup mixed pickling spices 3 cups chopped green onions
- 2 tbsp salt celery tops. 2 1/2 cups salad oil
- 1 cup white vinegar
- Juice of 2 lemons
- 5 teaspoons celery seed
- 3 teaspoons salt
- Dash of tabasco
Preparation
Step 1
Cover shrimp with boiling water to which othere ingredients have been added. Cook 10 mins. Drain. Cover with ice cubes to cool. Then clean and devein.
Marinade: Alternate layers of shrimp and onions. Combine other ingreadients and pour over shrimp and onions. Store in refregerator for 12 hours. Stir gently.
