Ingredients
- Cucumbers washed and dried
- 1 Vidalia or other sweet onion
- 1/2 cup cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup sugar
- Fresh cracked black pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Cut the ends from the cucumbers; slice each very thinly. Cut onion very thinly into rings. Use a mandoline for this process. the slices cam be made quite thin and uniform in size. In a large glass bowl, whisk vinegar sugar, and water until the sugar is dissolved. Add the cucumbers and onions , cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 2 hours.
