Ingredients
- 3/4 c. med. ground cornmeal
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 c. whole grain wheat flour
- 1/4 c. chia seeds
- 1 tbsp.cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- 1 1/2 c. buttermilk
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 4 tbsp. Olive oil
Preparation
Step 1
Add boiling water to cornmeal. Stir together flour, chia seeds, cinnamon, baking powder and soda and salt. Combine wet ingredients with softened cornmeal. Stir dry ingredients into wet until combined. Cook o er medium heat on oiled skillet.
