Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 1 1 lb. macaroni
  • 3 3 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 3 3 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 1 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 2 2 2 C. milk
  • 1 1 1 C. chicken broth
  • 2 2 2 C. cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Cook pasta according to directions. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Farenheit.
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat, stir in flour, salt and pepper. Cook for 1 minute. Whisk in milk and chicken broth. Continue whisking until the liquid thickens. Stir in cheese. Layer 1/2 of the noodles in a 9 by 13 pan and pour half the sauce on top. Use remaining noodles and sauce for last layer. Sprinkle cheese on top if you would like. Bake in oven for 20-2 minutes.
