Chicken with lemons & asparagus

Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/4 cup dloue
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 lemon, thinly sliced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 lb fresh or frozen asparagus spears, sliced
Preparation
Step 1
Gently pound chicken between sheets of wax paper to make cutlets. Mix salt, pepper and flour. Dredge the chicken through the mixture, saving the excess flour. Heat the oil to medium hight in a large, heavy skillet. Brown chicken on both sides. Remove chicken and reduce heat. Combine remaining flour with chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring with a fork or small whisk to mix completely; add to pan.
Add lemon slices and asparagus. Simmer until asparagus spears aare barely tender, about 6 minutes.. Return chicken to the pan and heat through, about 5 minutes.
