Pork Chop Casserole

Ingredients

  • 3/4 c flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 4-6 pork chops
  • 2 tblsp oil
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 2/3 c chicken broth
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 can french fried onions

Preparation

Step 1

Mix flour, salt and pepper in a shallow bowl. Dredge pork chops. Heat oil in a large skillet and cook pork chops for 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Place chops in a single layer in a 13 x 9 casserole dish. Combine soup, broth, pepper, thyme and 1/2 cup sour cream, pour over chops. Sprinkle with half of the onions.

Cover with foil and bake @ 350 for 45-50 minutes. Stir in remaining sour cream and top with remaining onions. Return to oven uncovered and bake for 10 more minutes.
