Ingredients
- 1 jar whole water chestnuts
- 1/2 pound bacon
- 3/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder or salt
- 1 1/2 tsp. ginger
Preparation
Step 1
Wrap each water chestnut with one half slice of bacon. Combine all other ingredients and pour over chestnuts. Allow to marinate for 4-5 hours or overnight. Broil on one side until slightly brown and then flip each chestnut over and repeat.
