German Applesauce Meatloaf

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 lb ground beef
• 1/2 lb ground pork
• 1/2 c finely diced onion
• 1 cup applesauce
• 1 cup breadcrumbs
• 3 tbsp ketchup
• 2 tsp salt
• 1/4 tsp black pepper
• As an alternative to the first 2 ingredients, BJs has a meatloaf mix which is beef, pork and veal

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Lightly oil a 9x5x3 loaf pan.

In bowl combine all the ingredients. Mix well.

Place in prepared pan and bake for 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

Let cool. Turn the loaf out of the pan. Slice and serve.
