Ingredients
- 6 cups apples (peeled and sliced)
- cinnamon
- nutmeg
- 1 cup sugar
Preparation
Step 1
Crumble 2 saltine crackers in bottom of pie crust to help absorb juice.
Pour in half the apples, add cinnamon and nutmeg (sprinkle like you would salting something. Pour 1/2 cup of sugar over apples. Add rest of apples and other 1/2 cup sugar and sprinkle with cinnamon. Top with crust and pat milk on top crust and sprinkle a little sugar over. Bake at 375 for 1 hour.
