Honey Lemon Tea Sorbet

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 6 tea bags herbal or black
  • 2-1/2 cups boiling water
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp freshly grated lemon peel
  • 1/8 tsp salt

Preparation

Step 1

Pour cold water in a small bowl. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water; set aside.

Place tea bags in a large bowl. Pour boiling water over tea bags; stir to moisten thoroughly. Steep 5 minutes. Remove and discard tea bags.

Add gelatin mixture; stir until dissolved. Stir in honey, lemon juice, lemon peel and salt; mix well. Let stand until mixture is cool.

Transfer mixture to ice cream maker; freeze according to manufacturerÂ’s directions.
