Crispy Orange Beef with Broccoli

Ingredients

  • Chuck roast, sliced thin against grain
  • cornstarch, for coating meat
  • 2 cups orange marmalade
  • 1 TBS garlic, minced
  • 2 TBS vinegar
  • 1 TBS ginger, grated
  • 2 TBS soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 2 cups broccoli floweretts
  • 2 sliced bell peppers
  • orange zest
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes
  • dash tabasco or to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Coat sliced meat with cornstarch. Heat oil in wok, add a few pieces of meat at a time. Remove meat when browned, set aside.

In wok whisk together sauce ingredients, heat to reduce. Add broccoli and bell pepper to sauce. Cook 5 minutes. Add meat to mixture in last 5 minutes.

Serve with steamed white rice.
